The term "Room Addition" can refer to many different types of home additions and remodeling projects. Some common room addition names may include:

Whether you are considering a room addition or a remodel project, we at Anthony & Company Construction will strive to make each addition look like it is part of your home. We wouldn't want your room addition to look like it was tacked on to the side of your house. Rather, we design each room addition to fit your home and look like it was part of the original design. We may use new and improved products on your home but we would always try to match the general look.

Standard finishes in our room additions include:

• Floors - may include hard wood, ceramic tile, carpet, or vinyl - depending on existing flooring and budget.
• Countertops are usually granite or cultured marble
• Custom or stock cabinets
• Exterior veneers to match or complement the existing materials i.e.: brick, stone, hardboard siding, or vinyl siding.

Our goal is to match the interior and exterior of your addition to a products that will match or complement the existing finishes. Sometimes our customers will have us ask us to update other areas of their home to match an addition - perhaps a new roof or new siding, or new flooring throughout a home. Whatever the case may be, we will work with each customer to meet their needs.

Often the HVAC system in an older home will need to be upgraded to handle the additional square footage of an addition. You can trust that Anthony & Co. will help you make the best decision when it comes to the heat and air system in your home.

Many times the addition will not be large enough to handle a conventional system, and we may advise that you upgrade your existing system or we may suggest a through the wall unit. We will be happy to discuss all options available to you and help you make the best decision.

All of our additions are turn-key; we include everything necessary to complete the project in its entirety. We work closely with you during the design process, and we continue to work closely with you during the entire process. We take care of all building permits and inspections. And we will assist you in H.O.A. approvals when needed.

We will also accommodate those handy homeowners who would like to do a little work themselves - painting is a favorite - and we call this sweat equity, and We have had many homeowners take advantage of this. We take all the worry out of building your addition.
