Change a lightbulb!
Replace burned out bulbs with the new compact
fluorescent bulbss (CFLs) - they use 75% LESS
electricity and last up to 10 times longer - more
than enough to justify their higher price!
Unplug things that glow
Even when turned off, anything that has a read-out
that glows is using energy! Some likely culprits are
your TV, your cellphone charger, and your computer
printer! Look around the house and I'm sure you'll find
more!
Recycle your electronics!
Before you toss out that old computer, cell phone or

Support your local farms
Many farms sell their good directly to the consumer,
have "pick your own" programs, or participate in local
'farmers' markets' - check them out, and buy food that
hasn't traveled across the country to reach your home!
Fix that drip!
