A FREE festival for bird lovers of all ages at Blue Jay Point
County Park! A great outing for families, scouts and other youth
groups, celebrate the return of our migratory songbirds while you
enjoy bird-related activities throughout the park. Enjoy games and
crafts, preschool storytimes, classes for adults and kids, live hawks,
birdwatching, and more.

Blue Jay Park
Blue Jay Point County Park is located 4.5 miles north of I-540 off
Six Forks Rd. at 3200 Pleasant Union Church Rd.
There are MANY walk-up activities for you to enjoy, but some of the
very coolest things to do are scheduled classes (for kids, adults,
and families) hikes for adults and families, and preschool/parent
storytimes. To read specifically about these programs, please click
