Mill Heritage Tours

When: Sat, August 7,

Where: Yates Mill
Description
Explore Yates Mill's business and social history. View a brief presentation on the mill's owners and operations in the Finley Center auditorium, then head to the mill for a guided tour. Explore the first floor of the fully restored mill and see how power is transferred from the mill's waterwheel to its grist-milling machinery. Reservations are encouraged.
Tour fee: $5 adults, $3 children age 16 & under, $3 for seniors age 60 & up, and babes age 6 & under free)* Maximum of 15 participants allowed per tour.




Nature Crafts: Something's Fishy!

When: Sat, August 21,
1pm - 3pm

Description
Learn about fishy adaptations for a watery world and create fishy crafts. This craft series for 6 - 8 year olds focuses on seasonal nature themes and related crafts.
